13 Days 12 Nights Flores and Komodo Adventure Tour

This tour is the most favourite tour for adventurers and nature lovers, culture and daily life of Flores people. This tour of course you will explore parts of Flores island to enjoy the various natural beauty of Flores island including the city of Maumere which is the second largest city on the island of Flores, snorkelling on the babi island of Maumere, a 3 colour lake in Ende, wologai village, batu biru beach, 17 riung island, kalong or bat island, hot spring soa in bajwa, bena village as a megalithic village in Flores, inerie mountain, Peroses making arake/sopi, rana mese lake, laba-shaped rice fields, todo village, wae rebo rice field lembor and the last destination is the Komodo dragon as the largest lizard in the world.
This tour will start from the east to the western end of Flores island. On this trip you will be accompanied by a tour guide and an experienced driver using an AC car.

TOUR ITERARY
First day: Maumere Airport - wuring village - traditional market - hotel
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by our guide who has been waiting for you and directing you into the car. Drive to the village to wuring as a fishing village located about 20 minutes from the airport. wuring village is a fishing village that has existed for a long time and has a strong marine tradition. Most of the residents of the wuring village are the Bajo tribe, who are known as skilled sailors and fishermen. After that, continue to Maumere market, there you can walk around to meet with traders vegetable, rice, sarong, etc. After the market you will be directed to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Second day : Hotel - harbour -babi island
Breakfast drinks will be provided at the hotel, after that drive to the harbour on an open deck boat and depart for babi island in about 30-40 minutes. Babi Island is an island that used to sink due to a tsunami in 1992 in Flores precisely in Maumere. On this island you will do snorkelling, swim and enjoy the beach to see beautiful corals and various types of fish, and you can also swim towards the cracks under the sea due to the tsunami. Then have lunch with grilled fish that is directly grilled near the beach by the ship owner. After lunch you continue to one of the small islands that is not too far from the babi island, it is about 15-20 minutes. there you can also continue snorkelling and swimming. After that you sail back to the harbour and return to your hotel. The babi island tour is over

Day three : Maumere - lepolerun weaving ikat- Paga-moni (3-4 hours drive)
In the morning after breakfast you will leave the Maumere hotel, drive to lepo lerun village located in Nita sub-district, to see the process of making ikat weaving in Lepo Lorun which is still done manually and traditionally, with colouring using natural materials such as mengkudu tree bark, hepang tree wood, dadap srep, turmeric, and mango tree bark. if you are interested in weaving ikat their work you can buy it. Continue driving to koka beach which offers a beautiful beach view with white sand and clear sea water, there you will relax, swim and have lunch on the beach while enjoying the surrounding scenery. After koka beach you continue your journey to the hotel which is located in moni, a small village at the foot of Mount Kelimutu.

Day four: Hotel - kelimutu lake -wologai - batu biru beach - Riung
In the morning, around four o'clock, you will drive to the three Kelimutu crater lakes to watch the spectacular sunrise and the beautiful panorama from the top of this 3-colour lake. After finishing, you will return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, drive to the nduaria market if you want to take pictures or buy fruits. then continue to the traditional village of wologai. This village is one of the famous traditional villages in Flores. According to the story, this village has a dark past. In the past, Wologai Village used human skin to make drums. After that drive to the blue stone beach which has its own uniqueness. If usually the beach is synonymous with a wide expanse of sand, Batu Biru Beach offers a view of the expanse of turquoise rocks scattered along the beach. At Batu Biru Beach, you can spend time playing in the water, walking along the beach, enjoying the sunset and enjoying culinary. Then continue driving to the hotel which is located in the Riung sub-district of Nagakeo Regency.

Day five: full day tour to 17 islands
In the morning after breakfast, you will leave the hotel to take a small open deck boat at the harbour to sail to the seventeen islands of Riung. Riung Island seventeen is included as a rich coral reef ecosystem, in Riung Marine Park, you will visit the Kalong (bat) forest of Bako/Tembang Island, Tiga Island and several other small islands in this park. In Kalong Forest you will have the opportunity to witness interesting animals (Big fruit bats) as they fly over the Mangrove Forest. From Kalong Island, you will move to Bako/ Tembang for snorkelling for you to explore the beautiful coral garden and various kinds of fish. After that, you will head to Tiga Island for amazing snorkelling, relaxing, swimming, and barbeque (fish and squid) for lunch. After all the activities are done at the Marine Park, it's time to go boating back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day six : Riung - hot water soa - wolobobo - hotel
After breakfast you will leave the hotel. Drive to Bajawa, Before reaching the city of Bajawa, on the way you will stop at a hot spring. According to the locals' belief that hot springs will have a healing effect for those who suffer. However, the experience of taking a warm and relaxing bath in a beautiful natural atmosphere is definitely a true pleasure for your body and soul. After that, continue driving to the top of wolobobo through the city of Bajawa, wolobobo is one of the alternative peaks to see the city of Bajawa and the surrounding villages and Mount Inerie and Ebulobo. In addition, wolobobo hill is also the best place to see the sunrise. Being on the top of the hill will give the impression of peace and tranquillity as well as comfortable because it is far from the noise and sound of vehicles. Only bird chirping can be heard. After climbing the top of wolobobo you drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day seven : Hotel - Kampung adat bena - tololela - gurusina - malanage
In the morning after breakfast, the trip begins by visiting the classic traditional village of Bena. Bena village is a megalithic traditional village located in Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, precisely in Tiworiwu Village, Jerebuu District. This village is famous for its traditional houses that still maintain the form and tradition of the ancestors. Kampung Bena is estimated to have existed since 1,200 years ago. Until now, the lifestyle and culture of the people have not changed much. Where the uniqueness of the architecture and the life of the people still firmly hold on to the customs inherited by their ancestors. After visiting your bena village then you will do trekking to tololela traditional village for about 1 hour. On the way to tololela village you can see many plants and local plants such as cassava, sweet potato, corn, coconut, etc. Tololela Village is one of the villages located in Manubhara Village, there you can see their daily life directly, this village is one of the favourite villages on Flores Island. The people are very friendly, the culture is still strong and the village is located at the foot of Mount Inerie. After that, he continued trekking to the village, one of the oldest villages in Jerebuu District, Ngada Regency. Even though it was under the Portuguese colony, Gurusina was found by a Dutch missionary in 1934. At that time the position of the village was still on the top of Mount Inierie, only in 1942 it was moved to a lower plain. Long before it was discovered by the Dutch, Gurusina had been established approximately 500 centuries ago. In fact, Gurusina is considered the oldest village in Flores. Then drive to the hot spring malanage a natural hot spring bath, this bath is famous for its warm water and contains sulphur, and has a beautiful and calm natural atmosphere. The hot water in Malanage comes from the meeting of two currents, namely the hot current from Wae Bana Malanage and the cold current from the Wae Roa waterfall, creating a natural warm sensation. Then you will go back to your accomodation

Day eight: Bajawa - Aimere - Rana Mese - Ruteng
After breakfast you will leave for the city of Ruteng and on the way will stop at Aimere to witness the process of making local alcohol made through the fermentation and distillation process of lontar tree nira. This process involves several stages, from harvesting nira, fermentation, to distillation to produce alcoholic beverages with a fairly high alcohol content, which you even test the quality of the alcohol. After that, drive to the city of Borong for lunch. Continue the journey to the route but you will stop at the rana mese lake for trekking about 30-40 minutes with the aim of Seeing Lake Ranumese which is at an altitude of about 1,200 metres above sea level (mdpl) and surrounded by dense tropical rainforest. After that drive to Ruteng for the hotel and dinner.

Day nine: Ruteng - spider rice fields - todo - wae rebo
In the morning, breakfast is provided at the hotel, then leave for Cancar for a trek for about 10 minutes, see the rice fields in the shape of a profit net. Lodok is a term in the local language which means a system of dividing rice fields or gardens (land). It is located in the area of Cancar Village, Ruteng District, Manggarai Regency, this system model will be found only in the Manggarai Raya area, which includes the Manggarai area, the West Manggarai area, and the East Manggarai area. Simply put, lodok is understood as the centre of lingko, which is a garden area or rice field in the shape of a roundabout. The land owned by a group of several clans in one golo called wa'u is called Lingko, while Golo literally means a hill, which refers to a traditional settlement. Thus, lingko belongs to wa'u who lives in one golo, and is not a private property. Manggarai people still do various kinds of traditional rituals in farming. This ritual is a sign of appreciation to the ancestors, and this ritual is carried out from the beginning of land clearing until the harvest season arrives. After that continue to Todo village which is a traditional village located in Todo Village, Satar Mese Barat District, Formerly, this village was the centre of the Todo Kingdom, one of the early kingdoms in Manggarai. Now, Todo Village is famous for its traditional house called Niang Todo, which has a cone shape and a thatched roof. Todo Village is believed to be the centre of the Manggarai kingdom government in the past and the only historical and traditional relics left in this village. After the village of todo, you will continue your journey to the village of Denge through the south coast of West Flores. Along the way to Denge and Wae Rebo, you will be treated to beautiful natural scenery, with the opportunity to stop for a while to take pictures. After arriving at Denge Village, you will start a trekking trip that takes about 3-4 hours to reach Wae Rebo Village. Here, you can spend time looking at traditional houses, chatting and interacting with locals, and enjoying the cool natural environment. Dinner and stay in a traditional house.

Day ten: Wae Rebo Village – Denge Village – Lembor – Labuan Bajo

After breakfast at the traditional house, you can enjoy the village and observe the daily activities of the locals before leaving Wae Rebo. Then you will walk along the same route back to Denge Village to pick up the car, and drive to Lembor. In Lembor, you can stop and walk for about 5 minutes to see the unique spider web-shaped rice fields (Manggarai's traditional land division system). After that, you will be taken to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, the trip continues to Labuan Bajo, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation. (Breakfast  & lunch provided)

Day eleven: Labuan Bajo – Kelor Island – Strawberry Island – Rinca Village – Kalong Island
Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your accommodation, then take you to Labuan Bajo harbor to board the boat and start your tour.
Your first destination is Kelor Island, where you will trek to the top to enjoy a fantastic view of the white sandy beach, clear sea water, and stunning small hills. On this island, you can also swim with friendly small whale sharks that often play near the shore.
Next, you will head to Strawberry Island for snorkeling to see beautiful coral reefs and various fish species. After finishing snorkeling, you will visit a fisherman village located in Rinca Island, part of Komodo National Park. Here, you will be warmly welcomed by a local guide who will show you the daily activities of the villagers, and you will be greeted with friendly smiles from the locals.
The last destination for the day is Kalong Island, where you can watch thousands of bats flying out while enjoying a beautiful sunset. (Breakfast, Lunch & dinner provided)

Day twelve: Padar Island – Pink Beach – Komodo Island – Manta Point – Taka Makassar
Early in the morning, you will trek to the top of Padar Island to witness a breathtaking sunrise, often described as a golden sunrise, with a stunning sky and views of three bays with different colors: black, white, and pink.
After that, return to the boat for breakfast while sailing to Pink Beach, where you can snorkel, swim, or simply relax. Then continue to Komodo Island for trekking to see the Komodo dragons and other wildlife such as wild boars, Timor deer, snakes, and several bird species.
After the trekking, you will sail to Manta Point for snorkeling in search of manta rays (sightings are not guaranteed, as it depends on weather and luck). Then, you can relax at Taka Makassar, a unique small sand island shaped like a boomerang or crescent moon, with crystal-clear waters. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner provided)

Day thirteen: Siaba Island – Sebayur Island – Labuan Bajo 
Breakfast will be served on the boat — this is your last day of the 3 days 2 nights tour. After breakfast, you will snorkel at Siaba Island, also known as Turtle Island, famous for its beautiful underwater scenery and home to many sea turtles.
Next, continue to Sebayur Island for another snorkeling session to enjoy its underwater beauty. Lunch will be served on board while sailing back to Labuan Bajo harbor. Upon arrival, our guide and driver will take you by air-conditioned car to your accommodation or the airport. your Flores & Komodo tour is complete  (Breakfast & Lunch provided)
